If you live in a city or a town you need to have your dog leashed while walking it. No matter whether it is a calm and friendly animal or not - a rule is a rule. How to pick the right one then? If it is to the dog leads, it all begins with the size of a dog. A big and heavy dog needs stronger lead which will stand when the dog pulls forward. The dog also needs his owner to be strong enough to be able to pull the lead when it is necessary, but this is obvious. Smaller animals, like Chinese crested for example will do fine with weaker dog leads. If you have a smaller dog it will surely appreciate if you buy it a harness instead of a collar to attach the lead to, because of the comfort. It is also more expedient solution for the owner, for the dog won"t slip out of the harness so easily.
